There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dhaval Joshi is Sr. Product Manager for VR /AR Experiences at Tencent, where he leads a team focused on creating new interaction experiences ranging across Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and AI.
Prior to Tencent, Dhaval led UX Research team at Microsoft focusing on developing methods to design & quantify hardware user experience for Microsoft Surface. At Nokia Research Center, he led the design and pilot of a mobile reporting and tracking system to track the spread of communicable disease such as malaria in southern India, while at Motorola India Research Labs, Dhaval explored mobile services for emerging markets and low-income population.
His works are published in a number of HCI Journals and talks at international venues and conferences such as MobileHCI, UXPA UserFriendly, IxDC etc. This event is free and open to the public. Presented by the School of Industrial Design.
