Family Weekend is a great time to experience all that Georgia Tech has to offer, and the weekend wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Campus Recreation Complex (CRC). Student families can check out our facility FREE of charge all weekend long. Just don’t forget your lanyard. We also have a series of events you don’t want to miss to really get you in the Tech spirit!

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

7:00 P.M.  – 10:00 P.M.                    GT Men’s Rugby Club vs. Emory University

Come support the Georgia Tech Men’s Rugby Club as they take on Emory University. The game is located on the Roe Stamps Recreation Fields right next to the CRC. Tickets are not required to attend.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

8:30 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.                      Zip line at the Leadership Challenge Course

Georgia Tech family members are invited to fly high at the Leadership Challenge Course on the zip line. Participants must be at least 13 and be accompanied by a parent or sibling who is a Georgia Tech student and over 18. Parents must sign a CRC waiver and a zip line-specific waiver. No experience necessary to participate. Please note- If there are storms or bad weather, this event will be canceled.

11:15 A.M.                                        Yoga Flow

Campus Recreation Center, Studio C

 Focus on balance, posture, and breathing as you move from one dynamic yoga posture to the next during this free class. This class is designed to train flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. All levels welcome.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30

10:00 A.M.  – 12:30 P.M.                 GT Women’s Soccer Club vs. Georgia College

Support the Georgia Tech Women’s Soccer Club as they take on Georgia College and State University. The game is located on the Roe Stamps Recreation Fields right next to the CRC. Tickets are not required to attend.
