No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) events at Georgia Tech celebrate and recognize the economic, cultural, and social contributions of Latinos in the United States. The Office of Hispanic Initiatives (OHI) advises a student committee to coordinate efforts with several Hispanic and Latino student organizations in organizing this monthlong HHM celebration of Hispanic culture and achievements.
This semi-formal Appreciation Banquet offers a unique opportunity for more than 100 students and 20 professors and staff to interact informally outside the classrooms and labs. There is a motivational speaker and authentic Latin American food.
