Blending the tactile with the visual, the inaugural Fast Film Fest is coming soon. Using paper as the basis of animations, participants will create a "fast film"- created, filmed, and edited in a two week period between October 24 and November 7, 2018.

To kick-off the Festival, Dr. Patrick Ellis will lead a screening and talk on the history of paper animation on Friday, October 12 at 6pm. The talk is free and open to the public. Dr. Ellis is a Brittain Fellow at Georgia Tech and film history is one of his areas of specialty. He has a PhD in film and media from the University of California, Berkeley.
