This weekend, LMC Professor Lisa Yaszek will talk about the meaning and value of science fiction and the role that women have played in developing this genre in the Decatur Book Festival Panel, "Women Take Charge in Sci Fi." This event, which also features science fiction authors Malka Older and Ed Hall, will take place in the First Baptist Decatur Carreker Hall on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 1:45-2:30 pm.
