Keith McGreggorLearn the basics of how to start moving your research out of the lab and into the world by uncovering your customers’ true needs and discovering your project’s commercial potential. Hear first-hand from serial entrepreneur Keith McGreggor, who founded/ co-founded six software companies and has a strong track record of commercial success.
Today, McGreggor is executive director of the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps) South program; director of Georgia Tech’s Venture Lab, and professor in the College of Computing.
He has been an entrepreneur for the past three decades. His first company, Artificial Intelligence Atlanta, was the first AI company in the southeast, which led to robotics research for Lockheed Martin.
Keith wrote and shipped the first 3D program and first color paint program for the Apple Macintosh. He developed the color architecture for the Macintosh, wrote substantial portions of the graphics system, and managed the graphics group at Apple Computer in Cupertino. He previously also served as director of engineering at Yahoo.
