Summaries

Summary Sentence: Psychology Committee of Graduate Students (PSY-COGS) Interest Session August 22, 3:00 pm

Full Summary: The Psychology Committee of Graduate Students (PSY-COGS) will be holding an interest session on Wednesday at 3pm in J.S. Coon 250. For any people new to the psych dept, PSY-COGS is a graduate student run organization, our purpose is to:  A. Bring together graduate students in the department together by creating and implementing ways to increase collaboration and socialization among labs and between different disciplines in psychology.  B. Improve the graduate student experience at Georgia Tech by identifying and advocating for positive changes with the department leadership and administration by openly communicating with the Chair of the School of Psychology, graduate coordinator, and members of the faculty.    If you want to make an impact on the School of Psychology community, I highly encourage you to come to the interest session and learn more! This is only our third year as an organization, so we're extremely open to new ideas. Regarding commitment, we meet every other week for an hour.
