The Federal Defender Program, Inc. is a Georgia non-profit organization that provides legal representation to indigent individuals charged with federal crimes in the Northern District of Georgia, as well as death-sentenced individuals in federal proceedings. For the Fall of 2018, there are a number of unpaid internship positions.

Undergraduate interns will primarily work in the Capital Habeas Unit, which represents death-sentenced clients during the habeas corpus appeals process.
