New muscle strands thanks to stem cell hydrogel

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. New muscle strands thanks to stem cell hydrogel

 

Hydrogel delivered stem cells called muscle satellite cells integrate to form new muscle strands, in green, along with existing muscle tissue, in red. Yellow strands may descend from existing muscle cells and from delivered MuSCs.
