No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. NACADA: the Global Community for Academic Advising, is capturing the stories of advisors in celebration of the 2018 NACADA Annual Conference theme “Life Stories: The Art of Academic Advising” this coming October. These stories will eventually be archived in the Library of Congress through the StoryCorps project.
Dr. Amy D'Unger, Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies in the School of History and Sociology and Ms. Stephanie Jackson, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Advising and Career Services in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs are featured in this project: https://archive.storycorps.org/interviews/stephanie-and-amy-our-nacada-advising-stories.
