Four student employees received recognition as Spring Semester 2018 Campus Services Employee Spotlights. Evan Knox is one of those students
David Lacy, User Interface Developer Senior, nominated Evan, stating:
"Since joining ITG, Evan has consistently proven himself as an exemplary student web developer, both in technical prowess and business acumen. Whether it’s tutoring a client, resolving web issues, or analyzing a technical report, I can expect high-caliber work from him. Because of his work ethic and professional business etiquette, Evan has been assigned to work on several high-profile projects including the promotion and marketing of our Alexa Skill website.
"Evan created a new website using the Drupal CMS to showcase the development of an Alexa skill in Amazon’s marketplace. This project demanded he expand his skill set to print design applications as well. Evan is coordinating the design and fulfillment of an instructional card that showcases our new project. He is overseeing the development from soup to nuts and is working directly with vendors and stakeholders.
"He has played a key role in the design and development of the Health & Well-Being Web Aggregation Tool and Idea Box – both of which have high-visibility and require much client interaction. In addition to major projects, Evan has become a reliable source for seasonal website changes including: Housing Rates, Student Center Galleries, and web accessibility updates.
"For every challenge I throw at him, he grabs it by the horns and does so with a friendly disposition. He has been an outstanding addition to our team and I look forward to his future contributions and development."
