Dr. Sharma is an experienced technologist and data scientist with an extensive track record focused on using data, models, and algorithms to solve complex business problems.  Most recently, he was a senior researcher at the IBM TJ Watson Research Center leading innovation in diverse areas such as human capital management, business process automation, healthcare analytics and educational technologies.

He has a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Delhi, an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.  He has been granted 19 patents and served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the department of Computer Science at Columbia University.
