An 80,000-word thesis typically takes nine hours to present. Could you present yours in three minutes?
Since 2015, Georgia Tech's Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition has helped graduate students hone their communication skills by challenging them to share their research in three minutes in a way anyone could understand.
This workshop, conducted in the Communication Center, will focus on polishing your 3MT presentation, particularly on refining and/or rehearsing your talk and on creating an effective slide for the competition.
This is the second of four workshops that will be offered in September and early October to help graduate students develop their Three Minute Thesis presentations. Note that this particular workshop topic will be offered again as the fourth workshop in the series (on Oct. 9). (The preliminaries will be held in October, and the final round will occur in November.)
