Georgia Tech Industrial Engineering graduate Blaine DeLuca saved Penni with the help of rescue group only hours before she was set to be euthanized. It's believed that Penni spent the first part of her life locked in a basement in abusive conditions. But with the help of hiking, Blaine has helped Penni become a normal dog again – teaching her to run and even hike! Her story has been seen over 50 million times, and we noticed that Penni was wearing a Georgia Tech bandanna in many of her photos. When we found out that she'd lost the bandanna on one of her adventures, we decided to replace it when Penni and her human dropped by campus.
