On May 18, Mikulas Fabry, associate professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, gave an invited keynote address at a conference held in the Institute for International Conflict Resolution and Reconstruction at Dublin City University in Ireland.
At the conference themed “Secession and Recognition of States in the Twenty-First Century,” Fabry addressed the evolution of state recognition in international society. In his speech, he traced the historic practice that has been employed in regulating membership in the international society.
