Congratulations to History and Sociology of Technology and Science graduate student Renee Shelby on winning the Graduate Student Paper Award from the Sport, Leisure, and the Body Division of the Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP). 

The title of her paper is, “Techno-physical Feminism: Surveillance, Anti-rape Technology and Shifting Risk Paradigms.” 

The awards committee found Renee's paper to offer "unique and considerable contributions to the fields of sociology of sport, feminist theory, and historical/archival research."  Congratulations!
