Kelly Orman, alumnus in the School of Economics at Georgia Institute of Technology, was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) on Wednesday, March 28, at the Historic Academy of Medicine.
The Distinguished Alumni Awards honor graduates from each of the six academic schools in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. These individuals have achieved notable success in their profession and may have contributed significantly to the College, the Institute, or the public welfare. Recipients are selected by the schools.
Orman currently works as a global finance and sales operations leader at SAP SE, a multinational software corporation. At SAP, he has served in a number of leadership roles accountable for maximizing global sales productivity and performance. Prior to joining SAP in 1998, Orman was an equity research associate at The Robinson-Humphrey Company focusing on the healthcare industry.
Orman earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Georgia Tech in 1995 and a Master of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
The School of Economics is part of the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. The annual Distinguished Alumni Awards celebrate excellence in the College community by honoring outstanding graduates, current undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty, as well as our friends and supporters.
