Renee Shelby had her dissertation proposal, titled "Technologies of Sexual Violence," approved on Thursday. Renee's committee -- which includes Dr. Mary McDonald (advisor, HSOC), Dr. Jennifer Singh (HSOC), Dr. Sherie Randolph (HSOC), and Dr. Anne Pollock (LMC) -- approved her proposal with a "high pass," and she has now entered into PhD candidacy. Congratulations Renee!
