Need a break from studying? Here are five fun things happening around campus and Atlanta this weekend.

Inman Park Festival

When: Saturday, April 28, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, April 29, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Inman Park (Euclid Avenue)

Cost: Free

Check out music, a parade, an artists’ market, and more in one of Atlanta’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods.

Food-O-Rama

When: Sunday, April 29, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: Historic Fourth Ward Park

Cost: Free

The Food-O-Rama will have many of Atlanta’s top food vendors in one place, selling small portions so you can try dishes from multiple places.

Yoga at the Park

When: Sunday, April 29, 7 p.m.

Where: Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark (North Avenue near Glen Iris Drive)

Cost: Free

Relax and refocus your energy with free yoga and free King of Pops at the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark.

Baseball vs. Wake Forest

When: Friday, April 27, 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 28, 4 p.m.; Sunday, April 29, 1 p.m.

Where: Russ Chandler Stadium

Cost: Free for students

Georgia Tech hosts Wake Forest in a home baseball series this weekend.

Softball vs. Virginia Tech

When: Friday, April 27, 6 p.m.; Saturday, April 28, 1 p.m.; Sunday, April 29, 1 p.m.

Where: Shirley Clements Mewborn Field

Cost: Free for students

Georgia Tech Softball hosts Virginia Tech this weekend.

 

After Finals

If you have a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card, the Atlanta History Center, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the High Museum of Art are all free during the first full weekend of every month. The High Museum is also free to everyone the second Sunday of every month. Check out some of Atlanta’s nearby parks, including Piedmont Park, Old Fourth Ward Park, and Centennial Olympic Park, too, before heading away for the summer.
