Jenna Jordan ANAK Award 2018Jenna Jordan, assistant professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Institute of Technology, was honored with the ANAK Award at the 2018 Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon on Wednesday, April 11, in the Student Center Ball Room. Each year, the Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon recognizes those who have received accolades throughout the previous academic year.
Since 1942, and annually since 1947, the ANAK Society has given this award to a faculty member at Georgia Tech who has demonstrated outstanding service to the Institute and to the student body through teaching, research, advisement, and general involvement in campus life. Founded in 1908, ANAK’s purpose is to recognize outstanding members of the Georgia Institute of Technology community for their strong character, leadership ability, and true love for Georgia Tech. ANAK strives to advance the Institute in its mission of progress and service.
Jordan received her doctoral degree in political science from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree in Political Science from Stanford University. Her research interests include terrorism, population transfers, attachment to territory, and international security.
The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is part of the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
