Experiencing Cobb County Hands On Program (ECCHO) is 7 week paid summer internship program that is designed to identify qualified graduating seniors, undergraduate students or graduate students that have educational interests and abilities that can be effectively utilized in government service. This position is part of the Environmental Educational program for the Water System and would be ideal for students seeking practical experience in the environmental education field.
ECCHO seeks someone who is interested in working with the community, being outdoors, learning about the place we live, is open to learning how to be more ecologically aware and changing their behavior to make better choices, and is an engaged resident who is seeking to make an impact locally. The program will start on June 4th and last for 7 weeks or 280 hours. This position does not qualify for benefits. Salary $10.00 per hour
