Congratulations to Hannah L. Taylor for receiving the School of Modern Languages Distinguished Alumni Award!

Hannah Taylor graduated with an International Affairs and Modern Languages degree in 2009 and now works as a US Country manager at Global Health Corps, an health equity fellowship for early career professionals. She oversees the fellowship program and supports U.S.-based fellows, alumni, and partner organizations. Taylor previously served as a Foster America Fellow working with the Administration for Children’s Services in New York City to recruit, retain, and support foster and adoptive parents and relative caregivers. Taylor has a background in global health, working on community health programs in remote areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan as the child health specialist with the International Rescue Committee, and working on community nutrition education programming in Bangladesh with Helen Keller International. She served as a Global Health Corps Fellow in Rwanda, working with Partners in Health on drug management, and she worked throughout Eastern Europe and Central Asia on pharmaceutical supply chain management for tertiary care institutions with AmeriCares. Taylor has a Master of Public Health from Columbia University with a certificate in Global Health and a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs and Modern Languages with a focus on French and Russian studies from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Hannah currently lives in New York City with her partner, Dennis, and her dog, Charlie.
