GTPE is proud to announce its first Dean's Speaker Series of 2018, hosted by Dean Nelson Baker. The special presentation, "Reimagining Education," will be delivered by guest speaker Anant Agarwal, CEO of edX and professor at MIT.

He will discuss the changing learning landscape and share stories that reveal how students from around the world are using online learning to change their lives. He will examine how innovations in digital learning and microcredentialing from world-renowned institutions are reimagining education, as well as show how innovative credit pathways are requiring MOOCs to make quantum improvements in quality and integrity. Finally, the talk will explore how universities and our education system might evolve in the future.

The event is open to Georgia Tech Faculty, staff, and students. It will take place on May 3 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wardlaw Building on the first floor in the Gordy Room. If you'd like to attend, please confirm your reservation
