How can your team increase sales revenue, gain more customers, greater market share, and greater relative profits? According to multiple studies, the answer is in cultivating a diverse workplace.

The business case for developing a diverse team is strong, and yet the tech industry in the US remains largely homogeneous along gender, racial, and other identity factor lines. Some claim there is a pipeline problem, others look to unconscious bias as the culprit. While unconscious bias has a role to play, workplace culture can compound the effects of biases, creating double binds and unequal expectations for people who are not part of the dominant group.

Join an interactive workshop to hack tech culture for a more inclusive and productive future. The workshop will run about 1 hour and 30 minutes and will include games, team activities, a brief presentation of Mariah's research on the role of culture in tech workplace inclusivity, and discussion of how to work within your team to intentionally cultivate an inclusive culture.
