On March 27, 2018, the Moroccan Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education, and Scientific Research, Mr. Saaid Amzazi, received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Rabat, Drs. Yves Berthelot, Abdallah Ougazzaden, and Dimitri Mavris, representing Georgia Tech and Georgia Tech-Lorraine. Also present, were Mr. Abdelhanin Belhaj, Acting President of Mohammed V-Rabat University, Mr. Noureddine Mouaddib, President of the International University of Rabat, and Mr. Mohamed Khalfaoui, Director of the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST).

This meeting was an opportunity to discuss ways of fostering communication between Georgia Tech-Lorraine and its counterparts in Morocco in the fields of research, development, and innovation.
