Please join The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, at our Business, Environment and Society Speaker Session featuring Bruce Karas, VP of Environment & Sustainability at Coca-Cola. 

Mr. Karas leads the Coca-Cola North America programs and initiatives that drive EHS compliance, Environmental Sustainability and technical information.  He works with the company and franchise bottling system to ensure alignment with Company Environmental Sustainabiltiy commitments, as well as leading the work streams in water, packaging, climate, sustainable agriculture and occupational health and safety to deliver continious improvement in performance, goal attainment and partnerships with external stakeholders.

He has over 25 years of experience as an EHS professional and has practiced in a wide range of Industrial operations in North America. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist in Comprehensive Practice, a Certified Safety Professional and is a Registered Occupational Hygienist in Canada. He has served in various positions in national and local professional organizations in the Environment & Safety space and has presented on a wide range of topics ranging from Sustainability, Water Stewardship, Sustainable Packaging, ergonomics, and health effects of flavorings.

The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business was founded in 2013 to act as a catalyst and connector, bringing together students, research faculty, companies, and entrepreneurs to create an environment where business-driven solutions to sustainability challenges can take shape and thrive. In all, Scheller provides students unparalleled breadth in environmental sustainability, ethics, corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, and values-based leadership.
