Full Summary: This is a workshop on how to manage stress as a female student athlete.

Research suggests that almost one third of female student athletes can experience high levels of distress. This workshop will cover:

  • common stressors female athletes face
  • signs and symptoms of stress/distress
  • healthy coping strategies
  • resources on campus and in the Atlanta community
  • experiential component: a guided meditation for the mind and body
