Position:  Program Coordinator for Women in Engineering Summer Camps

Employment Dates:  May 14, 2018- June 18, 2018 from 8:00-5:00 daily

Location:  GT main campus

Pay Rate:  Based on experience

Eligibility:  Current engineering student (any engineering major) with an interest in teaching or a passion in educational outreach.  Ideal candidate will have experience working with K-12 students through mentoring, tutoring, or prior camp involvement.

Job Purpose:  Coordinate and provide professional and administrative support for targeted programs and/or projects and unit initiatives.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the preparing, establishing, and leading of the recreational programs for the campers.
  • Conduct activities as specified by camp directors.
  • Plan, execute and provide assistance for meeting and event logistics and scheduling.
  • Establish schedules, oversee arrangements and provide logistics support for targeted activities.
  • Develop, arrange/coordinate meetings and project materials for distribution as necessary.
  • Monitor and update appropriate stakeholders of progress/milestones for program/project objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Attend a mandatory training for working with minors on campus, to be provide by Women in Engineering, within 1st week of employment. 
  • Must consent to mandatory reporting of child abuse.
