There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

School of Interactive Computing Professor Annie Antón was selected as chair of the new International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Privacy Engineering Section at a forum in Washington D.C. on March 29. The section recognizes the sizable growth of the IT and privacy engineering fields within the IAPP member community and aims to offer a range of programs, events, content and networking opportunities through which privacy pros working in IT and related fields can connect and advance.
Antón wrote a blog post for the IAPP, providing information on who should join the section and why. Read that at the link below, and register for the section here.
