There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Global Change Program creates opportunities for Georgia Tech faculty, students, and staff to design and implement solutions to a host of problems at the intersection of environmental, social, and economic systems. In doing so, the Program focuses on the development of strong education and research partnerships within the Georgia Tech community, leveraging areas of core expertise spanning energy technology and policy, sustainability, environmental science and engineering, and computer science.

Please join us for the launch of the new Global Change Program at Georgia Tech on Tuesday, March 27th.

3:00 PM - Keynote:  “My Climate Change” by Andrew Revkin 
East Architecture Auditorium; reception following

Synopsis: Thirty years into reporting on global warming science and policy, from the North Pole to the White House, Revkin lays out his biggest mistakes and most surprising insights and offers fresh strategies for effectively communicating climate risks and building a more sustainable relationship between people and this dynamic planet.

7:00 PM - Performance event:  “Climate Change in Song and Poetry” & Book Signing Ferst Center Lobby
