Sports, Society, and Technology Holds Concussion Workshop

Sports, Society, and Technology Holds Concussion Workshop

The Sports, Society, and Technology program held a workshop on concussion and traumatic brain injury from a liberal arts perspective. The Feb. 9, 2018, conference featured scholars from across the country, Pictured above are, from left, Mary McDonald, professor and Homer C. Rice Chair of Sports and Society in the School of History and Sociology, Michelle LaPlaca, a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Matt Ventresca, a postdoctoral fellow in the Sports, Society, and Technology Program.
