Stamps Health Services is hosting a HPV Vaccine clinic on April 18th from 9am to 3:30pm on the 2nd floor of the Stamps Health Services building.
HPV is the #1 sexually transmitted infection (STI) in America and condoms do not protect 100% against HIV. Nearly all cases of cervical cancer and genital warts are caused by HPV. Luckily, there is a vaccine to protect against the most common types of HPV.
Everyone 26 years and younger should get vaccinated.
The HPV vaccine is covered by the Student Health Insurance Policy (Blue Cross/Blue Shield purchased through Georgia Tech). Other insurance policy may cover the cost of the vaccine - we will be able to assist you at the clinic. Uninsured? You may be eligible for the vaccine through an assistance program.
