The Cybersecurity Lecture Series at Georgia Tech is a free, one-hour lecture from a thought leader who is advancing the field of information security and privacy. Invited speakers include executives and researchers from Fortune 500 companies, federal intelligence agencies, start-ups and incubators, as well as Georgia Tech faculty and students presenting their research. Lectures are open to all -- students, faculty, industry, government, or simply the curious.
On Friday, March 9 guest speaker Kyle Koza, the principal information security engineer for Georgia Tech, will explore the operational security employed for students, faculty, staff and researchers at Georgia Tech as well as strategies and challenges faced by operational security teams inside large enterprises.
Kyle Koza is the principal information security engineer for Georgia Tech. He leads the Cyber Security engineering team within the Office of Information Technology which architects, develops, and implements Georgia Tech's information security infrastructure. He is a certified network forensic analyst and Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP). He earned a Master of Science in Information Security from Georgia Tech’s School of Computer Science after also completing his undergraduate degree at Georgia Tech.
