GT-ASEE 6th Annual INSPIRE^2 (INtroducing Scholastic and Pedagogical Insight Resulting in Engaged Education) Workshop

This one-day workshop is targeted towards Georgia Tech graduate students and post-docs with an interest in engineering education. During the morning sessions, you will gain insight into preparing for a career in academia, and in the afternoon you will learn about non-traditional, interactive teaching methods in the classroom. A light breakfast and lunch will be served during the workshop. There is no registration fee.

Our workshop leaders this year include Dr. Shannon Yee, Dr. Blair Brettmann, members from Dr. David MacNair, and  Dr. Kyla Ross. Introductory remarks will be given by Dr. Wendy Newstetter, our GT-ASEE faculty advisor.

Little to no teaching experience? No problem! This workshop is an introduction to techniques and strategies for creating a more supportive and engaging learning environment in your future classroom. You are signing up for the right workshop!

Lots of experience or a Tech to Teaching veteran? No problem! This workshop will provide you with new perspectives on the knowledge you have already gained and a highly interactive opportunity to discuss your ideas. You are signing up for the right workshop!
