Purpose:

To honor GT international students who have been an active participant in internationalizing Georgia Tech’s campus and have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills while at GA Tech.

Award:

Honored at the Up with the White and Gold ceremony (April 23rd 2018)

Honored at the International Graduation Reception (April 25th 2018)

Name put on plaque of past winners in the OIE

Qualifications:

1. Hold active F-1/J-1 student visa status
2. Be an active member of a cultural/nationality club
3. Hold at least one leadership position on campus
4. Attend at least one leadership seminar or conference
5. Participate in at least one Community Service/Service Learning Opportunity

  • Applications (both student and staff/faculty parts) are due by March 7th, 2018 by 5pm.
  • Applications will be available through iStart under “Programs and Events” beginning Feb 16, 2018.
  • Applicants will be notified if they received the award or not by March 14th 2018.
