Every spring, Georgia Tech becomes the creative center of the music world. At the Margaret Guthman New Musical Instrument Competition, inventors from all over the globe showcase their designs. It’s the world’s biggest new instrument competition, concert, and convention for creators, musicians, and enthusiasts alike.

Over the years, the competition has featured instruments that create music with umbrellas and walking sticks, gloves that make gestures into melody, and a wind instrument that can create as many different musical tones as there are colors in the world. And for one night only, we’re inviting you to come be a part of it.
