There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The SGA Cultural and Diversity Affairs Committee hosts a Brown Bag Speaker Series with three 1-hour seminars per semester on various diversity-related issues in partnership with the Georgia Tech Counseling Center.
The next Brown Bag will be this Thursday, February 22, from 5-6pm in Smithgall (Flag) 117 entitled "Don't Build That Wall: Deconstructing Xenophobia.” They are hoping to lead an insightful conversation on the psychological factors behind xenophobic thought, and what you can do to combat toxic fear of the unknown. Please check out this and upcoming Brown Bag Seminars with CDAC, which will be taking place throughout the semester!
