Full Summary:

The College of Computing is ready to host it's second project of the semester! On March 2nd and 3rd we will be sponsoring the "Get a Move On" Hackathon. We will be incorporating both a software and hardware element this go around as well!

We'll provide space, food, and some tools if your hack requires hardware. Check below for a schedule of the event, resources, and other information as the hackathon progresses. Enjoy, and get to hacking!

Software Challenge

Deliver a digital solution that combines social, mobile, IoT, analytics, or other techniques to improve user performance, to motivate users, to enhance user experience, and to help build connections with users. Consider health and fitness data and how to maximize this knowledge.

Hardware/VR Challenge

Use the provided hardware or virtual reality equipment to improve user performance, to motivate users, to enhance the user experience, and to help build connections with users. The solution you design could monitor fitness activities, introduce workouts designed to build strength or lose weight, help prevent illnesses, or even bring down health and fitness costs along with individual insurance savings. The possibilities are endless as you focus on innovation in health and fitness activities.
