Looking to level up your fitness or financial goals? Or maybe you are searching for a way to actually follow through on those New Year’s Resolutions (Oh hello, February!). Either way, here is an incentive that promises to give your intentions a boost:
The University System of Georgia (USG) is introducing a new wellness initiative designed to reward employees for taking charge of their health and well-being.
As a member of the USG, Georgia Tech employees and spouses covered under a USG healthcare plan will have the opportunity to partake in a free incentive program that rewards you financially. The program begins March 1.
By completing and tracking various USG health and wellness activities, you and your spouse can each earn up to $100.
In days to come, all Georgia Tech employees enrolled in a USG healthcare plan will receive information (email and a mailed brochure) outlining the different ways to participate.
Here’s a snapshot of how the program will work:
All activities must be completed by Sept. 30, 2018, to earn your well-being credit.
The well-being credit is only available to employees and spouses covered on a USG healthcare plan and will be paid in November 2018. If employment ends prior to the payment of the well-being credit, the reward will be forfeited.
USG has partnered with RedBrick Health to provide some well-being services. Your health information is confidential and will not be shared with USG or outside sources.
