Summary Sentence: Graduate Communication Certificate workshop on Grant Writing

Full Summary: This 60-minute Graduate Communication workshop is for Georgia Tech graduate students who wish to complete part of their requirements for the GradComm Certificate program. The executive director of the Communication Center will conduct this workshop in Clough 447. For information on how to register, please visit: http://www.gradadmiss.gatech.edu/comm-cert-program

In this workshop, we will consider the basic strategies for and practical approaches to writing grants. Specifically we will discuss working with available resources (program officers, rubrics, templates, etc.) as well as proposal research, preparation, and submission. We will also discuss grant writing in collaborative situations. There will be a question and answer segment following the presentation. As a result of attending this workshop you will understand how to plan, submit, and follow-up on a grant proposal. Please contact Karen Head (karen.head@lmc.gatech.edu) if you need more information. *This workshop is directed towards graduate students. Postdocs are welcome as walk-ins as space allows.
