Join Health Initaititves for a leacture with Dr. Monica Halka, Associate Director, Georgia Tech Honors Program, on mindfulness methods. Mindfulness meditation encourages you to focus objectively on thoughts as they move through your mind so you can achieve a state of calm. There are also many ways that meditation is beneficial to mental acuity. Dr. Halka will explore the ways that mindfulness improves memory, focus, concentration, and understanding.
