There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. “The law covers traditional health insurance and provider health care, but it doesn’t cover many of the other sources of health-related data that today’s technology generates,” said Peter Swire, a professor of law at Georgia Tech and White House coordinator for HIPAA under President Clinton. “It doesn’t cover, for example, the books you buy about health care or the many fitness and health care apps you may have on your phone.”
