Congratulations to Ron Dempsey on the successful defense of his dissertation and completion of his Ph.D. Dempsey’s dissertation is titled, “The Role of Engineering Technology as a Pathway for African Americans into the Field of Engineering.”  

Dr. Willie Pearson Jr. served as the chair of Dempsey’s dissertation committee, which also included Dr. Jennifer Singh, Dr. Bill Winders, Dr. Jeff Ray, and Greg Pearson of the National Academy of Engineering.
