Computing Researchers Make the Case for Intelligent Infrastructure at Congressional Briefing

Distinguished Professor and Executive Director of the GT Institute for People and Technology Elizabeth Mynatt co-organized and presented at a U.S. congressional briefing on intelligent infrastructure on January 30th. The briefing was sponsored by the CRA. As the closing speaker, Mynatt described three key gaps that stand to prevent communities from reaping the economic rewards of infrastructure investments: productive access to broadband capabilities, innovative systems for effective training and job creation, and forward-looking data platforms and policies to spur open innovation.
