FORT COLLINS, CO –  Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia has achieved One-Stop Shop Certification through the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I).

One-Stop Shop certification recognizes collegiate operations that deliver one contact, one contract, and one bill to meeting planners. This streamlining of conferencing and events coordination is intended to more closely match the practices of convention facilities and finer hotels.

The process required for certification includes documentation of proposals, contracts, invoices and marketing materials that demonstrate adherence to One-Stop Shop principles. In addition, client references are required for successful certification.

"The One-Stop Shop Certification is a designation that we have been proud to carry at Georgia Tech Conference Services for some time now, and we are happy to have completed the recertification process," said Sravanthi Meka, Marketing Manager for the Department of Housing & Conference Services at Georgia Tech. "One-Stop Shop allows our clients to receive one bill, and one contract, and allow us to be the point of contact on campus, so that our clients can concentrate on the programming and marketing of their event."

Further information on One-Stop Shop certification and a listing of certified institutions can be found at www.acced-i.org.
