The Global Media Festival: Sustainability Across Languages and Cultures plans to hire one or two enthusiastic student assistants to help in the organization of the Global Media Festival. Students will work with the faculty team during the Spring semester, beginning in early February, approximately 6-12 hours per week for $10 per hour. We seek students with advance organizational and graphic design skills interested in contributing in a meaningful way to the success of The Global Media Festival. 

Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Research hotel prices for visitors
  • Research airfares and travel itineraries for visitors
  • Designing website and festival promotion materials
  • Reserving space and confirming it
  • Visit screening space and organize an IT/Screening troubleshooting plan
  • Ordering catering services
  • Requesting library video services
  • Setting the space for the event from start to finish
