Apollo astronauts often fell behind schedule on the Moon

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. “If you’re sending someone all the way to Mars, you want to get every last ounce of science and understanding out of it as you possibly can,” study co-author Karen Feigh, an associate professor at Georgia Institute of Technology, tells The Verge. “You do want to pack the mission, but also send up tools that allow you to be robust when things happen and still accomplish as much as you can.”
