A book launch for John Cressler’s new historical novel, Fortune’s Lament, will be held at Barnes and Noble bookstore at Georgia Tech, on Wednesday, April 18, at 7:00pm. Fortune’s Lament (published by Sunbury Press) is the third release in Cressler’s Anthems of al-Andalus Series, which are historical novels set in medieval Muslim Spain. Cressler’s fiction revolves around love stories set against the backdrop of pivotal historical events in Spain, and each has a strong interfaith theme. There will be a presentation, followed by Q&A, and a book signing. The event is free and open to all. Cressler is Schlumberger Chair Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Ken Byers Teaching Fellow and Science and Religion. Join us!
