The Eating Smart & Happy tabling series is back! This spring semester chat with one of our dietitians during a weekly tabling series across campus. She will be rotating through the Student Center in the Healthy Space, West Village, Brittain Dining, and North Avenue Dining.

There's no one nutrition plan that is right for everyone, so it's important to follow a healthy eating plan that's packed with tasty colorful foods that fit your unique lifestyle.  Our dietitian will help you discover what works best with your routine. This semester, the Eating Smart & Happy series will include:

  • Portion distortion - Get to know standard serving sizes using your hand as a guide.
  • Diversifying your plate – The Food Pyramid is old news. Figure out what your healthiest plate looks like. Hint: it includes lots of colors.
  • Go Further with Food –  Learn how to manage food resources at home while saving both nutrients and money.
  • Mindful Monday - Eat mindfully, honoring your body's hunger and fullness cues, as well as respecting those foods that help you feel and perform at your best.

Our dietician will also provide you with tips and tricks and answer your nutrition questions so you can stay healthy and happy this new year.
