There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Plenary Speakers

  • Dima Bilyk (University of Minnesota)
  • Marianna Csiornei (University of Chicago)
  • Ben Jaye (Clemson University)
  • Yumeng Ou (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
  • Stefan Richter (University of Tennessee)
  • Krystal Taylor (Ohio State University)
  • Elisabeth Werner (Case Western Reserve University)
  • Brett Wick (Washington University at St. Louis)

The Southeastern Analysis Meetings have established a strong tradition in the U.S. as one of the prime venues to bring together seasoned and early-career researchers, including graduate students, to exchange recent progress and advances in various areas of Analysis, particularly in the following subfields:

  • Harmonic Analysis
  • Convex Analysis
  • Complex Analysis
  • Operator Theory and Probability

Each year a different university, in the broadly defined “southeastern” region of the U.S., hosts this meeting.

The 34th SEAM meeting will take place at Georgia Tech on March 23-25, 2018.

The meeting includes parallel sessions for contributed 20-minute talks.

A special session on topics related to System Theory will be held to celebrate the contributions of Joseph Ball on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Ball has been the leading expert in the area for more than 30 years. He has influenced generations of mathematicians to enter the exciting area in the intersection of System Theory and Operator Theory.

Register here. Please submit title and abstract by March 5, 2018, in the registration form or via email to the organizers seam34organizers@lists.gatech.edu.
